Bang On The Ear (Of Celtic origin meaning an affectionate kiss or pat on the cheek) havebeen entertaining crowds since the bands formation in 2006. Led by husband and wife Bradley&Michelle McMillan the band have created a sound all their own while retaining the sounds oftraditional Scottish / Irish music and that Glengarry County sound that has remained a staple inthe Glengarry County community for 50+ years. Hailing from Glengarry County, Ontario(Ontario's Celtic Heartland) the home of the annual Glengarry Highland Games and the site forthe North American Pipebag Championships, Glengarry is rich in Celtic heritage. The group hasreleased 5 studio albums since 2006 and have garnered over 100000 streams on variousstreaming platforms. They have collectively written more than 30 original songs, which arefeatured throughout the bands discography. The band is currently signed to 2914 Records,having moved over from Minnesota based New Folk Records. Having Performed More than500 Live shows, they have played up and down Canadas East Coast, Ontario and Quebec andhave been privileged to have performed at several of the country's top drawing festivals andEntertainment events including headling The Glengarry Highland Games, The Cobourg HighlandGames, The Prince Edward Island Shellfish Festival, New Brunswick's Casley Park SummerConcert series, Canadas Irish Festival (Miramichi, New Brunswick) , The Almonte Celtic Festival&The World Education Festival. Their upbeat party style of Celtic Folk Rock keep patronssinging and dancing all night long. They have been fortunate enough to have performedalongside, The Briadoons, Hadrians Wall, The Mahones, Jimmy Rankin, Signal Hill, AshleyMacIssac, Joey Kitson (Rawlins Cross), The Trews and more.
